Frequently asked questions
What does the overrun buffer actually protect against? It adds a percentage on top of your raw task-hour total to account for the common real-world tendency of tasks running longer than initially estimated, rather than assuming every task finishes exactly on time.
Why might the working-days total not be a whole number? Total hours (including the buffer) are divided by your stated working hours per day, and unless the hours divide evenly, you'll get a fractional day, like 2.6 days, which you'd typically round up when scheduling.
