How to Use It — Step by Step

  1. Add your name, company, and client details at the top
  2. Click 'Add Task' and enter a task name, start time, end time, and hourly rate
  3. Repeat for every task or work session across the week
  4. Review totals — the tool calculates hours and amounts automatically
  5. Click 'Generate Report' to download a formatted PDF timesheet
  6. Click 'Generate Invoice' to produce a client-ready invoice with payment terms

Tip: Use descriptive task names (e.g., 'Homepage redesign — wireframe review') to make reports easier to review and approve.

Understanding the Calculations

Hours worked = End Time − Start Time. Subtotal = Hours × Hourly Rate. Grand Total = Sum of all subtotals plus any applicable tax percentage you enter.

Example: Task 'API integration' from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at $80/hr = 4.5 hours = $360.00 subtotal.
