Poker Odds Calculator
Estimate your chance of winning a Texas Hold'em hand before the flop. The calculator deals thousands of random boards and opponent hands (Monte Carlo simulation) to measure how often your hole cards win.
Inputs explained
- Your hole cards — Your two cards using rank + suit letters, e.g. "As,Kd" for ace of spades and king of diamonds. Suits are s, h, d, c.
- Number of opponents — How many other players stay in the hand (1-8). More opponents lower your win probability.
How to use it

Understanding the result
Example: A pair of aces (As,Ad) wins roughly 85% of the time against one random opponent; results vary slightly between runs because the simulation is random.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my win percentage change slightly each time I run the same hand? The calculator uses Monte Carlo simulation, dealing out thousands of random boards and opponent hands rather than computing an exact enumeration, so the estimate has small random variation between runs rather than being a fixed, deterministic number.
Does adding more opponents always lower my winning chances by the same amount? No, each additional opponent gives more chances for someone to beat your hand, so your win percentage drops with more opponents, but not linearly — the drop-off is steepest going from one opponent to a few and levels off somewhat after that.
