Understanding the result
Example: With 14 days until the exam at 3 hours per day (42 hours total), subjects weighted Math:2, History:1, Science:1 give Math 21 hours (1.5 h/day) and the others 10.5 hours each.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I give a subject a weight of 0? A weight of 0 means that subject gets no hours allocated at all, since hours are split in direct proportion to each subject's weight relative to the total.
Does it account for days you don't plan to study, like weekends? No, it divides the total available hours evenly across every calendar day between the start date and exam date — it doesn't automatically skip or reduce weekends unless you adjust the daily hours yourself.
