Understanding the result
Example: A 2,500 ml daily target with a 600 ml bottle means drinking 5 bottles (4.2 exact) — 4 refills after the first fill.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the calculator round up to whole bottles instead of showing a decimal? The tool always rounds up because a partial fill doesn't help you meet your target — if the math says 4.2 bottles, you still need to fill and drink from a 5th bottle to hit the goal.
Does 'refills' mean the same thing as 'bottles'? No — refills is one less than total bottles, since the first fill isn't a refill. If you need 5 total bottles to hit your target, that's 1 initial fill plus 4 refills.
